Oats The Way: Oat Milk Recipe

A popular vegan-friendly, dairy-free milk substitute, oat milk is free of a number of the allergens that are found in other types of milk.

Oat Milk

Ingredients:

750 ml water

100 g rolled or quick oats

 

Instructions:

  1. Soak the oats in water overnight.
  2. Drain the oats and wash them, discarding the soaking water.
  3. Blend together the soaked oats and water until smooth. 
  4. Strain the milk into a sealed container and refrigerate.
