HOW DO PRO ATHLETES KEEP TOP FITNESS LEVELS?

Being an athlete is not an easy job, you have to focus on a lot of things so that you can reach that top level. As an athlete you need to focus on your mental fitness, physical fitness, diet routine, fitness routine, and a lot more, I have been around a lot of professional athletes and they all have told me that everything depends on our diet.

We all know how fundamental diet is if you are looking for a good website which has all the best products and meals in my opinion muscle food is the best and the best thing about muscle foods is that they offer discount code for muscle food products. I have bought a lot of items from muscle foods and I can vouch for them also.

If you want to keep your fitness levels on top-notch levels you need to make sure you incorporate certain food items into your diet daily. You should make sure whatever you are having should have the following vitamins in them:

  • Vitamin B6
  • Vitamin B2
  • Vitamin B3
  • Vitamin B12
  • Vitamin D
  • Vitamin A
  • Vitamin E
  • Vitamin C
  • Folic acid
  • Omega-3 Fatty acid

Food and Fitness

There are essential vitamins and minerals your body needs, if proper proportions don’t enter your body you will never be able to reach optimum fitness levels. There are many food items that are rich in protein, carbs, vitamins, and healthy fats try to incorporate them into your daily diet and you will feel the difference in your mind and body automatically. I am not saying don’t eat junk or to completely forbid yourself from having them, you can have them just make sure you set a fixed amount of junk you can have or keep cheat days in a week so that you can satisfy your food cravings also.

For quite some time I have also focused more on my fitness than I had previously, it feels like pure bliss because my mind and body functioning has improved a lot. I changed my diet completely and I will tell you what I have been having for the past few years daily so that you can get an idea of what you should eat and what you should avoid:

  1. Bananas
  2. Eggs
  3. Grilled Chicken
  4. Fish
  5. Milk

A lot of athletes have all these items on a regular basis, the advantage of such food items is that they always have the key nutrients that our body needs and that too in a single serving that isn’t heavy on your stomach. If you want the same physic as an athlete you need to eat like an athlete also, it’s not an easy journey but then again it is not also impossible. Your mindset is the key to your success remember that, let people say what they want but don’t you ever think that you cannot achieve something because some person said you can’t.

Hitting the gym daily

You should know that as much you focus on a diet you should also focus on physical exercises as well, although diet matters more (70%) when it comes to fitness but exercising (30%) is also essential because it helps to create space for the nutrients by expanding your body. This is why people focus on specific body parts because they want to either shape up or bulk a specific region.

In different sports, athletes have a different training routine and set of exercises they perform on a daily basis. But don’t forget that every athlete is working on every muscle but only in a different way. Right now, you might be thinking that what is exercise you should follow if you want to be a pro athlete? Fitness experts have answered that people should think about which single exercise is best for all athletes fit. There are several exercises that they mentioned and even I do a few of those exercises on my daily gym ventures.

Here I am listing down a few exercises that you can do if you want to reach the fitness levels of an athlete. They tend to work out all your body parts, to know further read below to find out more details about them:

  • Sprints: It is important for you to remember that with your diet you need to maintain a body fat percentage to remain absolutely fit. Sprints are the perfect exercise to work out those legs, thighs, and calves. With help of sprints, you can achieve that lean physique. It’s not important that you have to go outdoors to run, you can get a treadmill and do all that running while staying in one place. I find treadmills more suitable because you can set different speeds and at specific minutes like the first 10 minutes jogging, after that 5 minutes sprinting and a 2 minutes all-out sprint.

  • Burpees: Burpees is not just a single exercise, think of it as an exercise that includes 4 exercises together. First, you stand straight in one position with your hands on your sides. Secondly, you bend down to touch your hands on the ground and push yourself into the position of a plank. Once you are in that position you do a pushup and after that, you jump up and stand straight again. This exercise is useful because it works on your triceps, chest, shoulders, core, glutes, quads, and hamstring.

  • Squats: In my opinion squats are the best exercise you should do if you want an athlete-like build because it works out your core, calves, ankles, and thighs. If you want to bulk up then I would prefer performing pushups. All athletes also do athletes because they rely a lot on their legs. The best way to perform a squat is to crouch around a 90-degree angle, look towards the roof, and with your legs move up and down.
